Welcome to The Layers Within, a website created by me, Mariah. I created The Layers Within to provide a safe and welcoming space for people navigating the often-unseen challenges of mental health.

My focus is on C-PTSD, anxiety, depressive disorders, and dissociation—topics that can deeply affect the way we think, feel, connect with others, and experience everyday life. Through my own experiences, I understand how difficult it can be to find understanding, reliable information, and a sense of connection.

I created this website because no one should feel like they have to navigate their healing journey alone. My goal is to share knowledge, personal stories, daily blogs, videos, and helpful resources that can encourage understanding and provide a starting point for those seeking support.

Some stories may be shared anonymously to protect people's privacy while giving others an opportunity to feel heard and understood. I will also provide resources that may help you connect with therapists, counselors, support services, and other forms of professional assistance.
